Lakaz Maman - translating from Mauritian Creole as 'mum's house' - serves up homely and casual Mauritian street food. From our traditional Anana Confit - fresh pineapple with fiery tamarind and chilli to Octopus and our House Cari we have something to suit everyone.

We accept bookings and walk ins. Open 830am to 10pm every day except Sunday (12-6pm) in the heart of Southampton Bedford Place. Why not come in and try one of Shelina's famous counter cakes that are made fresh by her every week?
